A new strategy from Washington: Let Ukraine Win!

In the aftermath of the failed attempt at negotiations, a new strategy is coming together in Washington: Let Ukraine Win.

According to the WSJ, “The Trump administration has lifted a key restriction on Ukraine’s use of some long-range missiles provided by Western allies, enabling Kyiv to step up attacks on targets inside Russia and increase pressure on the Kremlin.”

“Ukraine used a British-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missile on Tuesday to strike a Russian plant in Bryansk that produced explosives and rocket fuel,”

These strikes will have an immediate effect on the battlefield and more importantly, on Russian energy industry.

At the end of the day, President Trump announced substantial new sanctions on the Russian energy industry in a follow-up measure. These sanctions will have an immediate effect and target foreign countries which purchase Russian energy.

A positive change in strategy from Washington.
