Russian drones hit Kyiv Synagogue

Russian drones hit the Podil synagogue in Kyiv as well as a girl’s dormitory. No one was injured as the building was empty during the nighttime raid as the students went to a bomb shelter during the attack.

This attack comes days after the Kherson synagoge was hit by a Russian missile. The building was damaged from impact, but the missile failed to explode.

My wife and I were married in the Kyiv Synagogue and spent many years as a member of the Kyiv community.

Since the full-scale invasion, the Russian Army has destroyed hundreds of Churches across Ukraine. Crimea has seen the systematic destruction of the Muslim Tartar community. These two recent attacks on Synagogues are a continuation of Russia’s War on Religion in Ukraine.
