Ukraine Week 2026: Strengthening U.S.–Ukraine Partnership in Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C. — February 2–7, 2026

Ukraine Week returns to the U.S. capital for its fifth year, bringing together leaders, advocates, policymakers, faith communities, businesses, and civil society in a major series of events highlighting U.S.–Ukraine ties, advocacy, and cooperation.

Ukraine Week has grown into one of the most significant civic and diplomatic initiatives of the year, attracting thousands of delegates from across the United States, Europe, and Ukraine. This year’s program continues to build bridges between constituencies in both countries — with a strong emphasis on advocacy, partnership, and sustainable collaboration.

The American Ukraine Committee proudly serves as a sponsor and a key organizer of Ukraine Week events. As part of its mission to enhance understanding, connections, and support for Ukraine within the U.S., the Committee is helping coordinate a robust agenda of forums, dialogues, and advocacy sessions that engage elected officials, business leaders, faith partners, and civil society stakeholders.

Key Activities and Forums to Watch

Ukraine Week’s full agenda includes a wide array of activities designed to deepen connections and promote collaboration across sectors. Highlights include:

🗣️ Advocacy Meetings on Capitol Hill
A central component of Ukraine Week is direct engagement with members of the U.S. Congress. Delegates and advocates will hold scheduled meetings on Capitol Hill, offering an opportunity to discuss continued bipartisan support for Ukraine, security assistance, reconstruction priorities, and shared democratic values.

📌 Q&A Sessions with U.S. Lawmakers and Ukrainian Officials
Participants will join Q&A panels with members of the U.S. Congress, Ukrainian MPs, and government representatives — creating an open forum for dialogue on key policy issues.

📊 U.S.–Ukraine Forums
Throughout the week, multiple topic-focused forums will take place, including:

  • Business and Investment Forum (in partnership with the US-Ukraine Business Council)

  • U.S.–Ukraine Science and Education Forum

  • Trauma and Healing Forum

  • Veterans and Healthcare Forums
… and more, each designed to address areas of mutual interest and cooperation.

📚 Humanitarian and Educational Project Exhibits
Visitors will also have the chance to explore exhibitions of humanitarian, educational, and mission-driven work supporting Ukraine’s resilience and recovery.

IRF & Religious Freedom Conversations

Ukraine Week overlaps with the International Religious Freedom Summit (IRF), which brings together global advocates, faith leaders, and human rights practitioners to discuss the role of religious liberty in promoting peace and democracy. While IRF’s agenda broadly covers global freedom of belief issues, its partnership with Ukraine Week underscores the importance of inter-faith cooperation and protection of vulnerable communities.

Sessions at the IRF Summit explore topics such as:

  • The strategic value of defending religious freedom for global stability

  • Collaborative models for promoting freedom of faith across borders

  • Accountability frameworks to protect persecuted communities
… offering rich opportunities for Ukraine Week delegates and partners to engage in shared learning and advocacy.

Why Ukraine Week Matters

Since its launch, Ukraine Week has served as a platform for advancing stronger U.S.–Ukraine relations, promoting cultural and civic ties, and mobilizing bipartisan support in the U.S. capital. Delegates include elected officials, faith leaders, veterans, business leaders, educators, and civil society advocates — all contributing to a multi-sectoral approach to partnership and mutual understanding.

As this year’s events unfold, the American Ukraine Committee’s sponsorship and coordination efforts help ensure the Week remains a compelling forum for advocacy, dialogue, and sustained engagement.
