Five New Cosponsors Back H.R. 6856 Amid US-Russia Forum Questions
H.R. 6856, the Peace Through Strength Against Russia Act of 2025, continues to build bipartisan momentum in the House. The bill now has 57 cosponsors, and we want to recognize five Representatives who recently signed on to support it.

Why does keeping this pressure steady matter right now?
A US administration-linked official is set to attend Russia's St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June, the first such visit in several years. Rodney Mims Cook, head of the US Commission of Fine Arts, confirmed he was invited to attend the plenary session and President Putin's address.
Russian business lobbyists are also signaling a cautious return of US corporate interest in the forum.
Though attendance still remains well below pre-war levels.
Last year, Washington sent no official representative, citing Russia's aggressive stance on the war and warning that any return to normal relations would carry serious economic and reputational risks.
That contrast is exactly
why H.R. 6856 is so important.
As long as Russia continues its war against Ukraine, sustained pressure must remain the rule, not the exception. Strong, consistent U.S. policy keeps the focus where it belongs: on accountability and a just, lasting peace.
